Happy Holidays to all my blog friends, so sorry I have been absent for such a long time but I will try my best to get back into the groove of posting some of my work! Its just been a crazy year and now that it's close to the end I can only hope that the coming year is a better one!

So enough of that.... today I have a little decoupage house that I decorated all up in some fun vintage theme papers along with fun glass glitters, trims, beads, and a few goodies here and there.. I hope you like it, I just love the way it came out! I have been eyeing these lil houses for a while and finally made myself get to work on one !! Thank you Paper tales for carrying these cute casitas !! So here is the result.. Here is a close up of the banner that hangs in front, it's draped with some bakers twine . I made some cute little rosettes for the eaves of the house and trimmed them with some glass glitter. This is just a view of the cute lil bottle brush tree that I bleached from a dark green to this lovely cream shade to fit just perfect with my color scheme. This lil reef I also bleached from a dark green to fit right in with my casita!! I just love how they turned out . Below is one of the sides isn't it just so cute... I cut out the Santa and his Reindeer and decoupaged them onto the base paper. It's so cute I just love this vintage Santa!! I added lots of clear buttons to the roof and glittered it all up with some clear sparkle glitter and some mica to look like snow!Here is a close up of the back side of the house.. This is the other side of the house.Again I used some vintage images, check out the cute snowman couple! Just adorable! Monthly club project, beautiful cards!!

Hola Chica's

Yesterday was another successful club day with the girls every ones cards turned out beautiful.. we had lots of fun creating them! The cards I designed for the girls are using mostly all SU products with the exception of a few embellishments! We made a set of five cards using the Elegant Soiree DSP, Elegant lines EF, Elegance wheel, and Always elegant stamp set! I love using the Suite Series that SU offers it just makes creating projects so much fun! I also used some sentiments from other sets throughout the cards..

Here is the first of five card.

I got my inspiration from the Forever Young cricut cartridge. I love all the girl silhouettes in it.
Here is card two. Isn't it just so cool! I love her sassy dress.

Here is card three. This is the smallest card in the series but it's so cute, just love it for a cute little gift for one of my friends b-days!

Here is a close up of card four. In this class the girls learned how to use Heat Emboss. You can see the detail behind the girl, this was stamped on velum, it gives it such a subtle look I just love it.Here is the full view.. Here is the close up of card five. This one is my favorite! Well honestly I love how they all turned out (wink)! Gave some pizazz to the dress!

Here is the full view of the largest one we did.. I just love it! It's so pretty and for a Mother on her special day this is perfect!

Wedding Shower Gift..

Hola chica's.. Thought I would share this recipe box I made for a friends wedding shower! I was inspired by this really pretty apron that I purchased for her that had all the pretty blue hues in it, totally her style! My thought was to make her a basket full of goodies for her kitchen and what better personalized gift than a cute lil recipe box to match!! So I purchased an unfinished wooden box from Michael's and just dry brushed it with some acrylic paints and some ranger stains. I used some stazon ink to personalize the wood box on the back here is the first picture. I didn't want to paint the inside so I just did the edges and left the inside natural. I made some blank recipe cards to go inside with a scene at each tab of type of food! You can see the tab that says "breads" on it..

Here is a view of the front of the box! I painted right over the hinge too.

For the top of the box I found these really cool jewelry charms in the perfect colors and simply attached them to the box with a small ring and used hot glue so they wouldn't move. what a perfect match ha (smile)!!

Here is the whole basket, on the right you can see the pretty apron with all the pretty blues in it..and my lil box was a great addition to the gift basket, I really like that it has something homemade in it from me to her and hopefully she will Cherish it for many years to come..(wink!)

Cupcake shower gift.. OH SO CUTE!!

Hope you all had an awesome Sunday afternoon. Today was a lazy Sunday for me just kinda hung out! I finally got to finish my friends baby shower gift and thought I would share it with you all. Here is a pic of the whole ensemble. Here is a top view of the box I made with the cute lil cupcakes I made to go inside. I made them with onesies and burp towels and I used some baby mittens in the middle with the ruffled edge to look like the frosting and topped them with some flower baby barrettes to look like the topper!

Here is a close up of the tag I made using one of my favorite SU stamps called Homemade. I thought it was perfect for this gift. A close up of the cupcakes inside the box!

Here is the matching card I made with my cricut and throughout the project I used some stickles to add some extra bling!!

Here is the bag topper that I made with a new stamp set I recently got from MY CUTE STAMPS I can't remember the name but it's adorable for baby cards and gifts. I also used my new build a cupcake punch from SU and the coordinating stamp! I just love those new build a punches makes things so easy and fast. How cute it that lil owl with her oh so cute scalloped diaper! LOVE IT! (wink!)

Birdcage project

Hi Chica's
I know it's been forever long since my last post so sorry, believe me my friend Dora got on my case yesterday for having no new post! So here is a project I did last night. I got this cute birdcage hanging at M's yesterday and it had a picture of some birds in it that did match my decor, but of course us crafty chica's see many options to fix it!

Here is my final result I used some shabby paper from a pack I found really cheap at Ross one day, and some K&co elements that matched perfect. I also used my cricut to die cut the shape in the background and the scroll above the picture, oh and the bow border towards the bottom. It's kinda hard to view in the picture but the paper used for the bow is flocked it's really pretty =) and the ribbon border across the bottom is a pleated satin that worked really well.

I hope you chica's like it ....it was fun to make and I got the cute lil birdie's at M's and just clipped them on for a fun accent..

Hola Chica's.. I know long time no post!! Well with the holidays it seems like the time even flies by faster! I have been busy making some Christmas cards to send out and most have been ready but I decided to make a few more and here they are ... I used my su build an owl punch.. I just love it .. so dang cute..

Spooky Halloween Greetings my friends..

Happy Halloween chica's.. it's my favorite holiday I love everything about it.. Today I have some pics to share with you of some treats we made for are friends, and a cool banner me and my daughter made. It came out very cute and it is double sided with the words "spooky and wicked". To start here are the candy covered oreo's we made aren't they just adorable!!!!.....

We also dipped some yummy cinnamon pretzels in chocolate and of coarse put are favorite candy in the treat bags.. I made some tags using my new pti stamps and die's that I just love..

Ok now for the banner.. here is the "spooky side"

I bought some cool charms to put on the ends of the banner but since I decided to make it double sided I had to decorate the other sides of the charms so I used some cool brads I had.. I just broke of the backs and diamond glazed them to the charms.. this is the result ..

Wedding card request..

Today I worked on a card that a friend requested for her nieces wedding. I asked her what color theme it was and she told me purple and orange! I immediately thought of Halloween!! I can make this work! So I started playing with my new owl punch from SU because when I had my party I had remembered seeing a wedding card with the owl..
So here is my take on the HOO-lyweds!! I really am pleased with the way it turned out..

I used SU CS for the owls and gave the texture with some of my cuttlebug embossing folders I just love them.. oh and I used some glitter paper on the Groom owl..
When I was done with the card I felt like it just need a lil more girly accents for the Bride owl.. So I added a lil veil with some lace and rhinestones kinda hard to see but if you click on the photo to enlarge you can view it better, and her OH so Adorable lashes !!!! (giggle) I just couldn't resist myself !!

Hola chica's..

The other day I was browsing my usual blogs and came across this cool card the Beate made and posted one of her ever so cool tutorial video's to learn how to make this cool tent card, you can see it here. I loved it and had to create one .. here is my result.. I used my new cart. for my Cricut called Rock Princess .. I love it too (sigh) so many cool things to cut.. The top image is at an angle so you can see the window, and below is a front view.. I hope you like it.. it was lots of fun to create..

Oh and the chandelier and chair are cut from the wall decor and more cart.!! Just added some stickles to the light for some bling!! ...

I purchased some really cool stuff... here I made two thank you cards using my new owl punch... isn't it so cute! I love how you can punch out the breast of the owl in other papers to create a custom look.. so cool!! I hope you like them =) Have a great day until next time..

I have had so much fun with my vip pack from mft.. I can't stop with this cute paper from cosmo! So here is a few cards I made with my new inky antics stamps that I got at a local stamp store in Carlsbad called Gee Gee's. When I walked in and saw these adorable chef stamp sets I couldn't resist and bought ONE set. Well when I got home I was just so excited to use my new stamps right, I opened my pack to find one of my stamps damaged =( so the next day I went to exchange it .. and sucker me got the other two sets as well.. Oh so cute! I tell ya chica's I admit that I am an addict!! ( Hello my name is Kat and I am an addict) !! Ha ha ha .. so here are some cards that I have made with my new chefs !.....I hope you like them..

First up..

Look at the salt specks .. hearts who could resist hearts!! I used some basic grey paper that I found fitting for my lil chefs for the background and colored in with my copics. I stitched around the edge of the card in red and just layered with my nestie's .. I love how the the image is sticking out its lil tongue... so cute..

Third up....

This one I used a combo of cosmo paper and basic grey.. look at the lil mushroom stamped on the mixing bowl with the broccoli...how cute ha... I just love all the lil veggie images that are in the sets because they are small enough to use when writing recipes.. you can stamp them as the ingredient listings..

Fourth up...

This one is my fav...I really like the way the colors came together.. and the chefs pants are too cute.. Chica's these are just a few of the images that I have played with, along with the oh so cute sayings that come along in the sets, I eventually will make some others to share with you using them.. until then I hope you have enjoyed viewing them..

Lovin' from the oven....

Hola chica's.. here is another card I have to share with you today using again my MFT VIP pack! The stamp is one that I ordered along with my pack called Lovin' from the oven. I have been wanting this mft stamp for a while and took the chance to order it along with the vip pack to get the free shipping!! Gotta love free shipping especially when you have a tight budget. The oven stamp is from Stamping Bella its called Bella's daisy oven! I just had to add that little thing into the card cuz it's just so dang cute!

I paper pieced the apron on the card and the bowl and shaded it a little with my copics. It's hard to see in the picture but I added some beads to the cupcake with some diamond glaze as sprinkles and diamond glazed the oven door to give the affect of a real glass oven door! I really enjoyed creating this card as I have passion for kitchen stuff it's kinda of one of my obsession! "love me some kitchen gadgets" and well kitchen anything! haha crazy me I know..

My VIP pack Came in....!!

So a few week's ago I was surfing the blogging world and came across the MFT's VIP pack.. it just so happen that I was lucky to order it...as its only available for one day.. I was so excited to get it because I love Cosmo Cricket paper and this pack was meant for me I love it!! As I have really been out of the blogging loop I didn't even know that they had a VIP pack available and boy let me tell I sure wish I did.. I checked out some of the past packs on some blogs and was sure sad =( I didn't know ... because I'm sure I would have purchased some of them..! oh well, so glad I know now! so here is a card I made using the paper that came in the pack along with the cute ruffled ribbon and the "Who's that garden girl" stamp..oh and the saying is from the FREE stamp set that came along with the VIP pack called green thumb! So cool ha.. check all I got here.. I used my nestie's for the cuts and paper pieced the blouse and used my copic to color the images in. Please excuse my thumb in the picture but I was in a hurry and need to find good light in my craft room!
I used some diamond glaze for the tomatoes to give them that cool sheen..I hope you like what I have to share today I made some more cute cards today as well so I will be posting some soon.. thanks for stopping by..

Father's Day card...

Hola chica's...

I made my boyfriend a Father's day card with my new stamps that I got back at CHA ! I finally used them, and since he really likes art with skulls I thought this would be perfect.. I made it really fast cuz I am such a procrastinate that I got up early that morning to wrap his gift and make his card so it is a little simple but I really do like how it turned out.

For the gift it was a cool necklace that was already in a box so I just simply made a little box to set that one right into! For the card I used my rock star paper pad that I got from M's by DCWV. I think the guitar in the paper was just the right touch I needed to add with the dia de los muertos stamps..since there was a cool guitar playin skull dude..!! Hope you chica's like it talk to ya soon have a great night...

Hola chica's.. Happy Sunday..
A few weeks ago I went to this SUPER cute scrap store down in San Diego called Paper Tales it's such a cool store, just a lil thing but soooo well stocked I just love getting the chance to go there, because of course I always find something so cute! I bought this small stamp set by My cute stamps I forget the name but its a tea time one and it's adorable!
Here are a few cute cards I made using my "a child's year" cart. for the teapot card, how perfect for these stamps, I used a SU paper I had and colored the images with my copics
Isn't the cake cute and look at the lil birdie that's in it.. Love it!

Gumdrops & Lollipops...

Hope your day was great. Today I've been finishing up some invitations I've been making for a candy land theme party and here is what she requested... Lollipops and lots of them! 50 of these babies (sigh)! The color scheme she chose is really great because it is so bright and cheery. I used my cricut for most of the cuts except for the inside as I printed the invite info so I used my Nestie's for that. I used my SU word window to attach the sticks to the card with some scor-tape so they would stick really good. I love scor-tape it's such a great product. For the invite saying I used a half inch strip CS and rolled it up with a wire tool and attached it to the stick after punching with my ribbon punch, it made it really easy to slide up the saying to the top. The reason I did it this way was to not have to cover the fronts of the lollipops with the saying, their just to cute to cover up! Plus this way it's kind of fun for the receiver to unwind the saying. kind of a hidden message!Here is a closer view of the fronts.
Here is a view of the insides. I happen to have a MS stamp that I got at M's that had the gumdrop stamp and the candy as well, I really like how the insides came out. and finally here is my finished lollipop invite! I just covered them with clear candy bags that I got at M's and some pipe cleaners that I twisted up with my wire tool. I hope you all like them it was really fun making them as their so dang cute!!

Hola chica's..

Here's a card that made me think of my friend Raquel .. she love's the beach and she's actually having a destination wedding in Cancun, can't wait, its so beautiful over there and the ocean is beautiful..I made the card an odd size so I need to make an envelope to send it off..! I used my cricut for all the cuts! I just love the "a child's year" cart. it has so many cute images on it.. I then textured the crab, umbrella, sand and beach bum saying with several different embossing folders.. sprayed some tattered angels spray for bling and inked up the images.. its simple but cute.. oh and I used my new MS punch that has the shell border ! I love it..!!

This is the inside I just love the beach ball... so cute.. there is no saying yet until I simply write it out and send it off.. I think she will really like it..

Sorry for the long span of no new post. I will try to be better it just seems like my time goes by so fast daily and when I do think about finally gettin to my computer I'm just to tired! Well I have been doing some crafts though.. I made a few cards and a cute vacation book that I need to post soon.. it came out really cute and I had a lot of fun making it.. anyway to start here is a card I made for a lady at work she asked me for a hip card for her daughter and this is what I came up with. I used my Cricut for the wings skull crown and the actual card too.. added some stickles to the crossbones and the crown and a lil bling for the eyes of the skull and some tattered angels spray for extra sparkle! Here is a close up for you.

Pretty cool ha..she really liked it so that's good!! OK well tomorrow I will try to post another card as well chica's have a great night..until manana..

Recently I hosted a SU party and thanks to a few great friends I had an awesome party outcome.. so today I thought I would share a little thank you gift I made for my friend Amanda, You all know that I have been so excited about learning how to crochet well I am even more excited now that I am understanding the book I bought!! It is slowly coming to me.."giggle" but hey at least I am gettin it!

Today I learned how to make a triple layered flower, I am really enjoying the fun I'm having doing this, its exciting to make new things! Hola chica's... Hope your all having a good week. It has gone by soooo fast for me for some reason, not sure why! But I can't believe it's already March!! Let alone the first week is almost over! Well I made a new toy, this one is for my DD Perla.. she likes turtles because her boyfriend totally is one!! We love him but boy that man is slllooowww!! we tease him all the time "giggle".. so I made her this one and its so dang cute, added the lil heart button to show my love.. she loved it.. which made me happy.. who wouldn't love this cutie!!

Well my lil mini snail ain't nothing compared to this Momma Owlie!! Isn't she adorable! I just love her colors and check out her beak, it's a lil heart button, I thought the shape was perfect for it. The pattern actually called for different arms but I really wanted her to have feathers so I created some by using another pattern of ears for a rabbit I just used three on each side to look like little flapping wings! I hope you chica's like her I know I will cherish her for many many years... now my snail no longer has a lonely heart!!

Hola chica's.. long time no post!! Well I've been busy trying out some new crafts.. and this is one of them.. isn't she a cutie!! my first crochet toy! For my b-day last Aug. I got a gift card from Barnes and Noble and couldn't figure out what to buy, but I finally came to this .. (Amigurumi World seriously cute crochet) and let me tell they are so cute I had to buy both books one and two!! I can't wait to learn how to make other toys.. I was actually shocked at how easy it was to make since I haven't crochet in 26 yrs!! Now I just have to learn all the lingo in the book, lots of abbreviations for the stitches, not to mention the stitches them selves! Well I hope you like her I think she is Gorgeous!! Valentine's cards are one of my favorite's to make I just love all the cute papers, images, and accessories out to play with. Here I made some cute tags to put on a bottle of wine.. just need to add the ribbon and done..

I also used my nesties to cut out the felt heart..

The next two are very romantic cards that I had so much fun making I love the victorian style, the two stamps I used are from CTMH the lace and the cupid..
and my Martha punch again.. the bling pearls are from Michael's dollar valentine's !

New Year Greetings to all.. here I used my new punch from Martha.. I love it and my new stamps from PTI that My Daughter got me for Christmas I love them..oh and I also used my new stamp from CHF..it's the sentement.. love them cuz there all old fashion fonts ..

Happy New Year to all the crafty chica's out there..! hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I know I have been gone for a looooonnnnggg time!! but I really want to get back into the blogging mode again, I really need to focus and make time for it .. it's been hard to focus lately lots of stressful issues going on.. so hopefully this year brings all good things =) I sure hope so..

Hola chica's .. I made this cute BBQ card with my new stamp from OCL.. I just love all the detail that the condiments have.. so cute and the steak and veggies ! I used my Nesties and my cuttlebug embossing folder for some texture. I had this DP left over and thought it would make a good BBQ theme..

Here's a closer look at how detailed these awesome stamps are look at the tomato it even has seeds !

Here I used my kitty chef from The Cat's Pajama's..it was perfect for this card to add her as the chef cookin it up!!

It's just so cute and living here in Cali it fits so well..all though I'm not a surfer myself I have a few friends at work who are..This is an Our Craft Lounge stamp available exclusivley at Eclectic Paperie check them both out I just love their stamps.. I used my copic pens to color him in and I just cant say enough good things about the product. I'm getting much better at shading ! it takes practice, but it's so much fun learning to use them =) I used some random dp I got at Michael's and my paisley Nestie's and for the finishing touches I used a cute flower and fish brad to go with the theme also a glitter pen to add accents on the waves and the cute lil crab.. on the inside of the card I use the saying RIDE THE BIG WAVE and added TO SUCCESS as this is going to be a graduation card for my friends Daughter.. Hola chica's...

Today I made this card using Perla's new Moose stamp.. its so cute I just love it! look at the cute lil oven mittens she's wearing adorable and I used some liquid applique to create the frosting on the cupcakes.. it really does pay to wait the 24 hrs to let it dry before you heat it.. I had this cute paper pack of all cupcake and sprinkles and it was just perfect for this card.. hope you girls like it... and hope your all havin a great Holiday.. ps. just another one of Perla's stamps that's gonna become mine ha ha !! have a good night..

Hola chica's... look at this adorable stamp.. it's my daughters and when she got it I couldn't wait to use it.. haha! I don't think she's used it yet.. gonna have to make this one mine!! Its a stampin up stamp.. I used my copic's to color it and my new su top note die that I embossed with my cuttlebug heart folder! just love this style of card that I learned how to make from Natalie one of the great stampin up girls =) also used my notch tool to make the closure .. love that thing.. the image is stamped on white cs cut with my new nestie.. hope you chica's like this one.. hasta next time..

Finally some new cards to share with you.. as you can see I haven't posted in months.. I also haven't been creating a whole lot of stuff.. but whenever I can I try to get a little time in. Here are some cards I made with my new SU raspberry tart DP I got.. I just love the colors in it =) and for valentines day my boyfriend let me pick out some cool stuff I wanted from PTI.. so I got these adorable stamps.. I just love the cute ice cream cone!! The others are with my cute cupcake stamp I've had for a while .. everyone loves cupcakes!! hope you girls like them ! hopefully I will try to make more post in the near future ha ha!! as always happy stampin...

Hola Chica's..

I finished my sets that my friend requested so I thought I would post for all you to see.. I love Fall... and here's a few made from my Lasting Impressions brass stencils I just love my new scarecrow the caramel apple is also a brass stencil.. I used my cuttlebug embossing folders for the lettering background as well as the pumpkin scroll with the fall leaves tree.. I really like the shabbly look to these kind of cards.. hope you enjoy..

Here I used my new Aspen paper pack from CTMH I just love the color combo and the stamp is also from CTMH called Winter Fun . These guys are just to cute I had a fun time coloring them and the snowboarder is just great I dig him.. check out his lil foot kicked up in the air LOVE IT!!

Here I used this new snow product see picture below its like liquid applique but a lil more harder or grittier feel to it..! I really like it I added some fine glitter to it for added bling...

Hola my friends.. sooo sorry its been so long but with two jobs and all my Halloween stuff (that I just love!!) I've been really busy!! But, don't think I haven't been stamping or crafting chica's, cuz I have!! I just love this time of year, all the fall colors and cute stamps out there I just can't resist buying something new each and every year.. its such an addiction..not to mention all the Halloween decorations out there too.. THAT I LOVE AS WELL..!
So my daughter and I have been really busy getting ready for our annual Halloween party that we have! Can't wait, should be really fun!! I just love to see all the costumes that my friends come up with.. its such a fun time..This year our theme is the Flinstones .. I'm gonna be Wilma my boyfriend is Fred, daughter is Pebbles her BF is BamBam and his brother and wife are Barney and Betty, so it should be funny.. all we need is a Dino!

when I saw this stamp set by inkadinkado I LOVED it.. why you ask? well I love dogs I have three spoiled ones and I love argyle print .. so I had to get it ...hee!! I made this card for my daughter as she also love anything argyle print so I knew she would love it.. I used my new cuttlebug embossing folders and did the heart and swirls and my Martha punch for the edge..oh and lets not for the ever famous nesties that I used for the scalloped oval.. I love all of them and can't wait to get the new ones.. anyway chica's I hope you like it.. its dog gone cute.. lol!! I recently went to the scrapbook expo here in SD and purchased some new clear art stamps .. I just love all the retro images they have.. this stamp is from the "favorite fellas set"
it's really cool to be able to make masculine cards with this set...which sometimes is a challenge for me ..

I used my cricut for the the car from the going places cartridge and this is what I came up with.. I really like the lil guy he's just cruisin...!!
this is what I did on the inside of the card using the same stamp set.. just some more guy touches... he really liked it.. and it was fun to make :)

How is everyone today,... hope all is good.. today is a lil gloomy down here in Vista but I have to be honest I'm really enjoying the cool weather.. as I'm getting older the summers are not such a priority.. lol.. I really like the fall and winter, the cool crisp air at night.. I sure can sleep better..!! Well on to the card I made.. I used my new long Nesties.. I just love them Its so much fun creating cards with them.. I used my SU summer picnic DP I just love that pack.. and the stamp is from the Pink cat studio ... I used my Copic's to color her in and added a lil tag that I punched out .. with the miss you, love you stamped on it.. and some prima flowers and a cute heart brad ... that's it Chica's.. hope you like her she's really cute to me..lol!! Hola my friends..

Sooo sorry I've been away for so long but been really busy... anyway I truly have missed my bloggin time too.. so here's a lil something for ya.. I did this card when I went to visit my friend Carrie up in paradise Ca. We had fun just doing really nothin.. it was really relaxing and boy don't we all need more of it!! I know I sure do.. lol.. anyway I think that this stamp set is by obsession impression but honestly I'm not sure... I'm not in the craft room so I can't look!! haha! Hola I'm back..

I almost forgot that I made this lil doggie card.. a few weeks ago my friend Dora came up to visit me and we made this card together.. this lil doggie reminds me of my lil Estee.. she's a lil Cairn terrier.. and she's a cutie just like the stamp!!I used a paper pack that I got at JoAnne's and Dora's new Hanna stamp..I colored the stamp using my Copic pens and just embellished with the ribbon,bone tag and brad and a small piece of twine for the leash..the bone tag was a bit big but I just really wanted to use it since it was a doggie card!!

I just love this MFT stamp it's so cute.. and I love to paper piece the dresses in this one I think it really works well..its fun to work with these outlined stamps you can do so many fun techniques with them ! Here I used my CTMH colored pencils.. I love the soft look I get when I use them... I really like the way this card turned out its kinda shabby chic... I love that about it. I used some scraps of a K and CO. paper pack that I have and some cotton lace ribbon that I just love .. the colors are so pretty..^_~ I hope you chica's like it!!

Hola Chica's... I know its been a while.. but sometimes time just passes so quick that before you know it weeks have gone by!!! oh well I did go on vacation.. which was a nice getaway.. me and my daughter went to North Carolina to visit a city we have considered moving to.. it was really nice, very green and so many trees.... you just don't see that out here in Cali I mean we have trees but over there the trees are so tall and beautiful.. I loved the magnolia's they were beauty's I tell ya!! anyway while away don't think I didn't craft.... oh chica's I did in the wee hours of the morning because for some reason I just could not adjust to the east coast time!! so I stayed up really late and made some cute cards..for starters here's one I made with one of my favorite stamps called Can ya dig it !! I just love this one its so cute with all the fun gardening tools and seeds.. anyway I hope you like it I had fun creating it...I'll be posting some more soon as I have lots more to share with you all... hope you all had a great weekend ... hasta next time!!

Missing Gizmo..

Hello Chica's this last week was a really busy one I fell off the stamping train..!! I had to have my casita moved and well with that said had to move all of my stuff out to the garage.. and omg.. I had sooooo much stuff I didn't even realize how much is in my craft collection!! so I'm am trying really hard to eliminate what few things I can part with lol!! anyway on Thurs the casita was moved and on sat I was movin back in!! .. as everything was in the garage I was going back and forth with boxes and without even realizing left the side door of my garage that opens to the yard wide open.. well I was so busy that day organizing that not till the next day Sunday I saw my bf looking for my turtle Gizmo in the yard well when he came to me and said that he couldn't find him my heart dropped..:( I looked frantically for him and had no luck either.. I cried that whole afternoon.. made all kinds of signs to post in the neighborhood and prayed that my gizmo would be returned.. as I knew that someone had to of picked him up from the street.. MIND YOU THIS TURTLE IS FAST..!! once he gets going there's no stopping him!

So this morning I got a call as soon as I got to work from a lady that lives right up the street from me .. she said that a guy came knocking at her door with info about Gizmo and that he had him at his house.. she gave me his phone # and well I thanked her and called him immediately.. THANK GOD SHE SAW MY SIGNS .. the guys name is Brad and I can't express how grateful I am that he returned my Gizmo... he's been in the family for 13yrs.. so I couldn't imagine living without him.. so I made this card as a thank you for his great deed.. I just got this new stamp and it was the perfect set to use.. well Chica's that's my story .. my casita is almost back to normal and our family is united once again.. yippee... have a good night and thanks for stamping by!!

New Hanna stamps..

Hola Chica's... well I just love this new Hanna stamp that I got at one of my favorite local stamp stores check it out here the owner is really sweet and all the staff is very helpful with all my question!! thanks girls.. so with this card I used my copic pens to color the image and after all that spritzed it with my glimmer mist .. the color was a lil dark but over all I still like it.. I used my new Martha punch that I got at Michael's and just some textured CS from Joanne's. The tab is SU and I used my decorative accents on the corners and tab.. love those lil dots.. oh and I ticket punched my corners of the CS !! lots of fun this one, she's just to cute!!

This was a stamp I also got at Jazi crafts and I have been wanting this stamp for soooo long and well I actually had to return it cuz it had a few defects .. sad.. oh well this is the one and only card I made until she gets more in..!! so girls make sure your checking your stamps ....now I try to stamp all the images right away on a sheet of paper to make sure they all stamp good ~_^
I really do like it this one it's kinds shabby chic .. I used my CTMH colored pencils to give it a soft look I really like the way it came out it was fun to do and the lil poodle it so cute!!

Well today was a great day... my DBF got a new job today and well I made this card for him using my Hanna stamps too.. it was the perfect way to say kick back and relax now.. I love all the favorite guy things..especially the six pack of beer lol !! I hope he likes it....I plan on giving it to him tomorrow with his favorite beer so we can toast to his new job.. I used CTMH paper called laid back and my stickease to create this card. I colored the image with my copics and inked the edges with CTMH vineyard berry.The CS is sunflower and I used stickles for the tv antennas! added a few brads to accent and the tab is also from the my stickease assortment.. well Chica's I hope you all had a great holiday and I will chat with you all soon hasta next time k... buenas noches..

Hola chica's... how you all doin out there?..I'm back.. hee !! and I just can't get enough of these cute pooches!! I just love these guys.. thier so much fun to color in!! and for Mother's day I got a new set of copics... yippy!! and well I just had to try them out.. and I LOVE UM!! can't wait to get some more!! I also got a brand new laptop from my boyfriend Kenny :) and its PINK!! I love it too!! its so cool cuz now I can bring it right out into my "Casita" with me! it's so convenient.. anyway on to these card that I made using my new stamps and my new paper from SU. I just love the colors in the combo my new fav is groovy guava.. :) and I was lucky that some of my copics kinda matched!! fun fun.. so this first one I used my dog stamps from pink cat studio . I decided to make this cute card for my friend Yadira who is gonna graduate on Fri from college.. so I stamped the image with my stazon blk and colored it in with copics I used Yr02,Rv29,Eoo,E34,R43 and E02..I highlighted with my white gel pen and sponged the edges in groovy guava..I used my new CTMH spot on backgrounds stamp for the actual card and the ginger blossom pp from SU... I also used a copper rim from making memories and popped up the sentiment.. used my Nesties for the scallop squares and SU ribbon in river rock .. some lil flower brads from making memories and that's its for that one!! I hope she likes it :) ...

This next one is with the same PP from SU the ginger blossom one .. I stamped the Image with the stazon blk and colored with my copics using E34,Yr07,Eoo.. I used my CTMH cottage floral stamp for the random stamping and used CTMH bamboo ink for the large flower and SU groovy guava for the lil one.. my Nesties for the ovals and SU ribbon in groovy guava too.. a small flower brad from making memories and that's it for that one!! It's simple but cute.. ok Chica's that it for now Hasta next time!! as always Happy stampin..

My casita where I create BELLA ARTE!!

Hola Chica's well I finally had a lil time to share my craft space with you.. it's been a work in progress.. and so far I LOVE IT.. here is MY CORNER where I create all my fun stuff.. I purchased this barn shed and made it into my own lil space.. its really cool cuz I'm away from the house in my own lil world!! I painted it all white and added the light pink to the lower half .. stenciled the walls with a damask design and my AWESOME DAD made the counter top for me and put the pistachio green formica on it .. its really easy to clean which I love.. he also helped me put all the lighting up.. and the shelves.. I LOVE HIM..:) Its my own lil shabby chic craft room..

I had this armoire in my room and it was really to big for the space so I decided to use it in here.. it's soooo cool for all my stuff.. I had it painted white.. and my boyfriend one day bought these clear storage organizing units for our bedroom closet .. well I loved them so I used one set in the upper area and its soooo cool cuz you can pull one out and the rest stay put it's like a puzzle!! WHO THINKS OF THIS STUFF!! not sure but its nice to know someone is..!! haha !

Here I decorated my stamp boxes and labeled them which makes it really easy to find stuff.. have a few new ones that need to be done!! ...soon ....one other thing on the list lol..!!

In the drawers I found these cute pink baskets at the dollar store and use them for my STUFF!!

This corner is my sewing area I love it cuz in the house I use to have to lug my machine out every time I needed to use it..! now it stays put.. NICE..!!

One day at work they decided to redo the wine area well they threw out all these boxes and I was sooo excited to have seen them because chica's these were beauties.. painted them white, hung them and walla... que BELLA..!! SURE CAME IN HANDY..!!

This is my "CRICKET CORNER" my daughter one day was gonna get rid of this cute pink and white cabinet.. well you know me had to have it.. its now the perfect stand for my cricket love it!

I love milk glass and one day driving by my house I saw a sign that said ESTATE SALE me and those are trouble!! I love to shop and well I had to go .. I scored on this lamp for 10 bucks its so cute I love it too!! and my AWESOME DAD hooked it right up for me.. thanks papi.. love u..

Here on this wall I bought this magnet board at Ikea and the spice containers too.. just love to store all my flowers in them .. so easy to see all the colors.. :) and the magnet baskets I got at target on the clearance rack for 1.25 each.. painted them to match and my ribbon fits pretty goon inside..!!

well Chica's I hope you enjoyed my casita ...I sure do .. it's really nice having your own space .. and I dont miss all the mess on my dining room table haha!! below is the view from the outside I had to put a doggie door in for the KIDS!! you know.. spoiled rotten ones.. oh well love them too.. well my casita really needs a name so I was hoping for some suggestions .. how does "casita de bella arte" sound.? please help..ok Chica's hasta next time hope you have a great afternoon ..

well I finally got around to mounting my stamps to the ez mount foam and got to use them today ... soooo CUTE! Although I don't have a poodle I do have three lovely dogs and the one on the right looks like my SCRUFF Estee... I got these from my good friend Carrie.. check out her store here! I used CTMH markers to color the images and stamped it with black stazon ink ....and a white gel pen to highlight .. of course my nestie's.. for the window and scallop circle...the BT is k and co. the CS is CTMH kiwi and bubblegum.. and the ribbon is just some I had ~_^ and a couple of rhinestone brads to add bling.. Hope u like!!! gotta go gonna go to the Movies.. gonna see WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS !! looks really funny.. hope so see ya manana chica"s love ya all ....

My Blog Candy WIN!!

it's been a while.. I know sorry... I've been really busy with other things.. but I'm back..!! and really excited to share with you my cards I made with the two stamp sets from Lauren's blog candy giveaway.. I WAS SO EXCITED TO WIN..! I love both these stamp sets and fortunately I didn't have them.. even better !! I also had a Stampin Up party and got my order in and I was anxious to use my new punches.. I just love gettin new stuff!! lol.. The first card is made from bird day designs from Hero Arts its such a cutie.. I stamped the image with stazon black and colored the birdie in with CTMH markers using buttercup for body and taffy for the beak the hat is with breeze and blush as well as the cake and candle with some hollyhock too.. I used my nestie's for the scallop circles in white CS and hollyhock CS and punched my new tag with my Stampin Up designer label punch inked the edges with breeze and died a CTMH white flower in hollyhock and used a white brad.. sentiment is in hollyhock...the Ric Rac is from the new boom di ada creative basics pack which I LOVE!! The BT is from the boom di ada L2 PP and the textured CS is from Jo Anne's I embossed it with my cuttlebug and used my new nestie's labels trio.. for the sentiment cut out.. I inked the edges with hollyhock and stamped the sentiment also with hollyhock on white CS I stamped the stitches with my CTMH stamp

This card was a lot of fun too... I love the cute cupcake's.. I used this Making Memories paper pack that I scored on at kinko's!!! I went to make a few copies and there it was in a basket of clearance items... it came with ribbon and bling and velvet letters I just loved it and for 2.47 what a steel.. had to have it..!! I used my nestie's for the center oval and punched out the small 1/16Th holes around the scallops.. I used my new Stampin Up ticket punch on the BT and CS and the ribbon is the one that came with the pack.. placed it down with CTMH bigger brads in lavender.. the sentiment is the Stampin Up designer label punch stamped in pink carnation and I used my new hodgepodge hardware.. LOVE IT!! its so cool how they coordinate ... I love COORDINATION !!! The Images I stamped in black stazon and colored in with CTMH markers.. using breeze lavender pink carnation and a lil topiary for the leaf! I used my write N rub pen to adhere the glitter which is Martha Stewart lavender and CTMH prisma glitter.. for the cupcakes..

MARGARITA'S ANYONE ?

It's that time of year.. FIESTA TIME!! oh what fun.. gotta love the nice hot summer days and there's nothing like a Margarita on the rocks to go with it! I got this stamp at Cat's craft cupboard and I couldn't wait to use it.. of course the Latina in me was so excited to see this cute lil chihuahua with his sombrero.. and you gotta love his ears stick in right out!! too funny..
To create the card I used a piece of SEI paper called sea foam for the card base and used Creative Imaginations Fiesta and pepper paper for the layering. The red is a textured CS that I got at JoAnne's. The inks are CTMH cranberry and sunflower and for the image I used black stazon. I colored in all images with my watercolor pencils and used a blending pen . The stamps I used .. drink.. CTMH "do nothing" and the chihuahua and cactus are from Inkadinkado "muchos gracias" and the font is from technique tuesday..I inked all edges with either sunflower or cranberry and popped up the one circle with the drink and the message then finished off with a green twine for some texture.. Hola chica's COMO ESTAN?.... hope you all had a great Sunday afternoon.. I had a workshop today and we made this lovely dress card. I got the template for the nugget purse but I don't have the dress one SORRY.. :( from my new friend Yvonne Metz she has some great projects to check out.. I used CTMH hollyhock CS for the dress and stamped it with the CTMH adorable stamp set. I used hollyhock and chocolate ink . The purse on dress was punched from a tab punch that I got at Michael's and I used my Nestie's for the purse handle and the collar. I signed up for the VIP monthly coupon that they offer!! boy what a savings on my set.. I LOVE MY NESTIE'S!! can't wait to get another set..!! For the nugget purse I used the CTMH BT from the more to adore L2 paper pack . I used one of my decorative corner punches on the front flaps of the purse . I punched out a 1/2 inch circle from vanilla cream CS and stamped it with the smallest flower in the set with hollyhock and pierced a hole in the center added a small pink brad and placed it in the center of the front flap of purse.. I used a small piece of adhesive velcro that I cut from a full strip for the closure..Inside the chocolate nuggets are covered with the CTMH L2 BT as well ... QUE BELLA !! this is a very cute Mother's day card to give.. I hope you like it.... :) the girls really did... have a great night..

to follow are some pics of the backyard everything is so pretty right now I love spring! my roses are in full bloom and the hydrangeas are just budding!! cant wait to see them this year ..
I've planted some of my favorite herbs, chives, parsley, cilantro, oregano, thyme, basil, mmmm I love basil! Oh and of course some chiles!! Que rico! We have some Thai chile and jalapenos and a chile de arbol.. The rosemary is doing really good ... and the tall one is the Thai chile it's like a tree now !! Can't wait to make some yummy salsa :)~
Above is the climbing rose that finally bloomed.. so excited and it smells really good.. and along the side of the house the roses in full bloom :)
Here is the walk way to the upper level ... I just love the iceberg roses and between the stones I planted some small bundles of low cluster plants one has a couple of cute tiny purple flowers ! hope you like the pics cant wait till we have that salsa!! gonna have to make some carne asada!!until later chicas..

Hola.. I finally made something with my alcohol inks! lets see I bought those in probably Jan. lol! Well when I bought this cute retro vw bus stamp I thought what a great chance to use them.. since they give that total GROOVY affect.. you know! So what do you think? It was fun making it.. so different than other inks that's for sure! well hope your all having a great wednesday afternoon .. hasta manana ..

Well as you know my name is Kathleen but I go by Kat.. and I just love all the retro kitty's out there! I can't wait to get my pata's (paws) on the new It's a mod mod world from The Cats Pajamas I just love it! Its soooo cool...
My blog page inspired me to make this card.. I just love all chandeliers! When I was in Italy I wanted to buy one of those venetian ones ... now thats some BELLA ARTE!! some day I'll return and get one!! haha! well I hope you like it ..
